Now that the weather is cooling down a bit, itâs the time that my kids get the desire to go on homeschool field trips and observe the changing seasons! Even if the leaves that are falling arenât quite orange or vivid hues where you are - we are in central Texas, so this is rare - you can still get into the cozy, autumn spirit.
Also, we are planning to do some of the activities in this colorful unit study centered around pumpkins! Complete with math activities, learning science with the life cycle of pumpkins, and even pumpkin Pointillism art - pumpkin spice scented playdough, anyone? - this is sure to have something for everyone to enjoy.
Itâs no mean feat to manage to homeschool, especially if youâre also working from home. Sandwiches are fine; but, if you want to mix things up a bit, read on for homeschool lunch ideas that take less than 30 minutes to prepare in advance and under three minutes to put together.
